2-Step Verification (Multi-Factor Authentication)

2-Step Verification (Multi-Factor Authentication)

What is 2-Step Verification?

We have introduced a two-step verification process when you login to your zHealth account. Two-step verification (or multi-factor authentication) is your shield against unauthorized access to your zHealth account. By combining your password with a secondary identity check, such as a contact method or security info, adds an extra layer of defense. Even if someone discovers your password, they're halted without access to your security info.

Activation and Functionality

Upon the initial login, users will encounter an option to select "Remember This Device." This feature ensures that subsequent logins on the same device will bypass two-step verification, simplifying the process for added convenience.

Steps for Two-Step Verification to Log into Your zHealth Account

1. Visit https://www.zhealthehr.com/. Just below the Username and Password boxes, you will encounter a box "Remember this Device" with an "i" button.

2. On hovering over the "i" button, you will see this message - “Check this box only if you're using a trusted device, like your personal computer or mobile phone."
Note: Only remember a device that you trust, like your personal computer or tablet device.

3a. Once you know how "Remember this Device" (2-step verification) works, go ahead and enter your username and password.
b. Ensure you check this box only when using a trusted device, such as your personal computer or mobile phone.

4. Once you've successfully authenticated with your username and password, you'll be redirected to a screen prompting you to enter a verification code.

Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed. Your verification code* will be sent to you either as a text message, an email, or both, depending on your code preferences.
*Note: Verification code will be sent to the phone number and email address added to your zHealth account > Update Info > Facility > Facility Details.
