Adding CPT Codes to Your Facility

Users with Admin Access can add CPT codes to their account to aid in efficiency when creating new invoices.

2. Read Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access your zHealth dashboard. Hover the cursor over to your name. A drop-down menu will open.  Click on the third option - Update Info - from the drop-down menu.



2. In the Update Info window, click on the fourth tab - CPT Codes.



4. There are two ways to add CPT Codes to your zHealth account:

a. Add CPT codes one by one

b. 
Import CPT Code file from your system 


A. Adding a CPT Code One by One

1. Adding CPT Codes One by One
When you click the ‘Add CPT Code’ button, a pop-up window will open. Fill the following details to add the desired CPT Code to your facility account:

a. Enter
CPT Code
b. Enter
CPT description
c. Enter
price that you charge for the CPT code
d. From the dropdown, select ‘ Place of Service
e. Enter
CPT Modifier 1
f. Enter
CPT Modifier 2
g. Enter
CPT Modifier 3
h. Enter
CPT Modifier 4
i. Click
Add to add the CPT code



2. If you want to add Line Note or NDC Drug information for a CPT code, click the blue area where it is written "Line Note or NDC Drug Information. Now follow the below steps:

a. Enter the Line Note. A Line Note is required when a CPT code is considered non-specific or does not definitively describe the service/supply. All invoices will automatically inherit the Line Note for a CPT code.
b. Enter the Drug Name.
c. Enter the NDC Number.
d. Enter the Unit of Measure from the drop-down.
e. Enter the Unit of Count. Note: All invoices will automatically inherit NDC number, unit of measure and unit of count for a CPT code.
f. Click "Add"

Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 to add other CPT codes one at a time.



B. Importing a CPT Codes File

1. Importing CPT Codes file
When you click on the ‘Import CPT Codes’ button, a pop-up window will open.

Click Browse and select a .csv file containing lists of CPT codes you use at your facility. 
Note: The format of the file should be CPT Code (Max. length 5 chars long), CPT Description, Price, Place Of Service, CPT Modifier 1, CPT Modifier 2, CPT Modifier 3, CPT Modifier 4.




2. Once you add/edit/update CPT codes, you will be able to see them in the CPT master list like this.
