Clearing 409 Conflicts in zHealth Pay

What is 409 conflict?
The 409 conflict error may occur when a transaction is still in QUEUED status, and the terminal cannot accept any new transaction requests. To resolve this issue, you must select the device and clear the QUEUED transaction(s). This will ensure that any pending transactions are cancelled, allowing new transactions to be processed. Here's how to do it:

1. Hover the cursor over your name on the top right corner. Click "Update Info."



2. On the Update Info window, click on the last option "Edit zHPay Profile".



3. On the next screen, click "Clear 409 Conflicts" from the side navigation bar.



4. On the next screen, enter the following information to clear 409 conflicts:
a. Select the device
b. Click the "Clear Transactions" button.



FAQs

Q: What if the transaction can’t be found or trying to delete a pending transaction doesn’t work when a clinic has the 409 error?

A: You may see the error "Transaction could not be canceled" even when the transaction actually gets canceled so it may have actually worked.


The 409 error also comes when the second transaction starts before the earlier one times out so that may be the issue as well and is now fixed. Please check with the clinic to see if they can charge again.
