How to Send Monthly Statements via Text and Email (by Request Only)

Monthly Statements are a valuable tool for clinics and providers to be able to see what you’re billing your patients at a glance, as well as the payments they’ve already made to you, all condensed into a single report. A billing statement also allows you to remind your patients about any outstanding payments and their due date and help you and the patient keep a comprehensive record of their account activity.

A. How to Access Monthly Statements


1. Access your zHealth Dashboard. Hover the cursor over your name on the top right corner. Click on "Billing Center".



2. On the Billing Center page, click on the "Monthly Statements" button available on the right side of the screen. A pop-up window will open.



3. On the Monthly Statements pop-up window, you will see the following details:

a. Click the checkbox to select all 10 patients on the first page of the Monthly Statements page when you want to send the monthly statement to all of them at once.
b. Click to select a specific patient when you want to send email or text message for patient balance.
c. Name of the patient

d. Available Credit in the patient's account
e. Last Bill Sent Date
f. Patient Responsibility (PR)
g. Balance due amount
h. Email PDF - Click this button when you want to send the statement to all patients on the first page.
i. 
Click the "Email" icon to send the statement to the individual patient. Click the "Print" icon to print the statement of an individual patient 
j. Click "Text to Pay PR Online*" to send a text message to all selected patients
k. Mobile number of the patient. If the Patient's contact details don't have the mobile number added, the
 box will be empty.
l. Click 
"Email to Pay PR Online*" to send emails to all selected patients.
m. Email address of the patient. If the Patient's contact details don't have the email address added, the box will be empty.
*Note: Text to Pay PR Online and Email to Pay PR Online buttons appear only when you have signed up for zHealth Pay and requested them to be turned on for your clinic.




B. How to Send the Monthly Statement to a Patient through Email or Text

1. First, click the top check box to select all patients or click on the checkbox for a specific patient. Then, click the "Text to Pay Online" button or Email to Pay Online" button to send the statement to selected patients via text or email.
Note 1: Text to Pay PR Online and Email to Pay PR Online buttons appear only when you have signed up for zHealth Pay and requested these to be turned on for your clinic. Contact our support team if you want to sign up for zHealth Pay or want this new feature to be turned on as a zHealth Pay user.

Note 2
: Please enter the email address or mobile number of the patient in the Email box if there is no email address or phone number shown in the box.
