List of Common Errors while Processing a Credit Card in zHealth Pay

zHealth has partnered with ProPay® (a TSYS company) to provide merchant accounts for authorizing credit card transactions via zHealth Payment Terminal. We've created a list of error messages or rejections when a Credit Card transaction is submitted to ProPay via zHealth Pay.

Please check the below table to find the most common error messages and what they mean.

The transaction was blocked by the card holder’s credit card company. The card holder will need to call the number on the back of the card to find out why.

This response should never appear for a ProPay transaction, but is sometimes returned with other kinds of merchant accounts. Provided here merely for reference.

There is a problem with the card. Merchant should keep the card and call the number on the back of the card to determine the issue.

Do not honor 
This is a generic response issued by banks when they don’t want to tell you why they’ve declined a transaction.

There is a problem with the card. The card has been marked for fraud. Merchant should keep the card and call the number on the back of the card to determine the issue.

Only honor the card with verification of card holder’s ID

Forbidden means that authentication failed somewhere. Double check the login (activation code and key) credentials.
