B. Read Step-by-Step Instructions

1. To get started, you have to go to the Invoice section of any patient. You can either:

a. Click on the name of a patient from the
Appointment Calendar.

b.
Search the name of a patient using the Search box on the top navigation bar.

2. You will be redirected to the Patient Profile. Click on Patient Billing.

In the Patient Billing window, click on any Invoice. The Invoice page opens.

3. Under the Diagnosis section, click Manage Fav.' My Favorite Diagnosis Codes' pop-up box opens.

4a. Enter the 'New Fav Name' in the box.

b. Click ‘
Add New’ to add Fav Name to your favorites.

For example, to create Back Pain related ICD-10 code favorites, type 'Back Pain' in the box and then click '
Add New '. You will get a message "New Favorite has been added." Starting adding your Diagnosis.

5. To add diagnosis codes to the favorite you created, follow these steps:

a. Enter the first few characters of a code number or description.

b. Our software will auto-populate* a list of possible matches below the Diagnosis Code field. Scroll down if necessary to view more.

*Note: The auto-populated diagnosis code list shows your
Favorite Category in dark red color which is bolded and underlined; favorite code in blue color; standard ICD-10 codes in black color; and any inactive code in red color with "| inactive" written after the code.

Once you locate the desired code in the list, click on it to select the code.

c. Click the '
+ ' icon to add the selected diagnosis code to your diagnosis favorite. Continue the above steps to add more codes to your ICD-10 Code Favorite Category.

Note: When adding the ICD-10 codes to your favorite list, make sure the sequence of the codes are in the order you want to bill an insurance company. First code should be the primary diagnosis, followed by codes that describe any coexisting conditions that affect patient treatment or management. However, you can always change the order (reorder) of a diagnosis code while creating an invoice by clicking the 'four arrow' icon at the end of the code name.

6. Once you add ICD-10 codes to your Favorite Category, close the window. Your Favorite Category is ready. Now, if you want to add the favorite category codes to an invoice, click on "Select Fav", a drop-down menu will open.

Click on the Favorite Category you created. All the ICD-10 codes will appear in the Diagnosis section. You can rearrange or delete any code if you wish.

*Note: Once a user, who has created a favorite list of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) 10 codes, becomes inactive, all corresponding ICD-10 favorites are also deactivated, thereby rendering them inaccessible to other providers and staff for viewing or usage.
