Bulk-Text Feature in zHealth Mobile App

Bulk-Text Feature in zHealth Mobile App

We have introduced the Bulk-Text Message feature in the zHealth Mobile App. This feature is now available on both the zHealth web app and the mobile app, allowing clinics to communicate with their patients more efficiently and in real time, from anywhere.

The Bulk Texting functionality is simple to use and allows you to send a personalized text message to your active patients (active patients with a mobile number added to their patient charts) at once.
Notes
Note: The "Bulk Text Message" functionality is a "Pay Per Text" feature.

How to Send Bulk-Text Messages from the zHealth Mobile App?

Providers can easily access and use the Bulk-Text feature within the zHealth Mobile App.

This user-friendly feature allows you to send personalized text messages to your active patients. It's an effective way to keep patients informed about important updates such as new services, special offers, membership plans, pricing changes, or office closures and openings.

Here are the detailed step-by-step instructions:

Info
1. Sign in to your zHealth Provider App using your login credentials. Then, tap the "Explore" option located at the bottom right corner of the navigation bar.

Info
2. After tapping the "Explore" option, additional menu items will appear. Select the "Messages" option from the list.

Info
3. Within the "Messages" section, you will see two features: Bulk Text and In-App Notifications.
Select the "Bulk-Text" tab to compose the message you want to send to your patients as a push notification.

Info
4. To send a bulk-text message to patients, one mandatory field must be completed: the Message Body

You can also send bulk messages to all active patients or a specific group by using the filter option, which allows clinics to apply one or more filters to target specific patients.

Status: By default, it is set to pull all patients. However, clinics can use the filter to narrow the list to either active or inactive patients.

Gender: By default, this is set to include all patients. However, the provider can filter patients by selecting Male, Female, or Other.

Age Range: By default, all age groups are included. The provider can choose from preset options—0–18, 19–24, 25–40, 41–65, or 65+ using the dropdown menu. Additionally, the "custom" option is available for manually entering a specific age range to filter patients.

Patient Type: By default, all patient types are included. The provider can filter patients by selecting specific types such as PI, Cash, Insurance, or any other types defined in the clinic’s Patient Type master list.

Patients Having Appointments: By default, this filter includes all patients. Providers can refine the list by selecting specific time frames such as today, tomorrow, yesterday, the next 7 days, past 7 days, next 30 days, or past 30 days. A custom option is also available, allowing the provider to enter a specific date range to filter patients based on their appointment dates.

Patient Visit History: This filter enables the provider to narrow down patients based on their last visit date. By default, it includes all patients. However, the provider can choose predefined time frames such as the last week, last month, last 2 months, last 3 months, last 6 months, or last 12 months. A custom option is also available for manually entering a specific date range to filter patients accordingly.

Notes
Note: You can either send the bulk text message immediately or schedule it to be sent at a later time.

Info
5. After filling in all the required fields for sending the bulk text message, click the NEXT button to proceed. On the following page, review and accept the policy, then click Pay Now & Send Message to send or schedule the bulk text messages.

Info
6. If the system detects any prohibited words, it will prompt the user and highlight the specific word(s). Please remove the prohibited word(s) to proceed with sending the bulk-text message.

Info
7.  After you click the "Pay Now & Send Message" button and no prohibited word(s) are detected, the bulk messages are added to the queue and will be delivered to patients within a few minutes, depending on the number of patients at your clinic.

Notes
Note:  The bulk text will not be sent to the active patients who have replied "STOP" (or unsubscribed) to one of your previous text messages/reminders.
