Claim MD Most Common Error

When submitting claims or requesting benefit and eligibility verification electronically, etc., through the ClaimMD clearinghouse, you may encounter error messages. 
Below are some of the most common errors along with their possible solutions:

460 A valid eligibility response was not returned. Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact support.
Subscriber IDs cannot include an alpha-prefix that begins with ZGC, ZGE, ZGT, or WZG. To submit an inquiry with one of these alpha-prefixes, please submit the inquiry through BCBS Texas Medicaid STAR/CHIP.

VAL1 Provider record must be approved before eligibility can be processed
This is an internal error from Claim.MD to indicate that the provider on the request wasn't approved yet in Provider Enrolment, and they initiated the Benefit request.
Contact the zHealth Support Team to complete the provider validation process
3. 
410 Payer ID [ASH01] does not support real-time eligibility
This means the payer does not provide benefit information
When we map the Claim MD payer id to the insurance master example: ASG01, it will say "Not Available", indicating the payer does not support real-time eligibility

Unable to respond at the current time
This indicates a connection error or that the payer is currently not available to respond.
Trying again at another time. If the issue persists, contact claim md they will contact the payer for status.
5.
Error Code: PRC1 --> Invalid Procedure Code [CPT Code]
Not all payers support procedure-level benefit verification using CPT codes. Some may reject benefit verification requests when CPT codes are submitted, while others may return general benefit information and ignore the procedure code.
Retrying without the CPT code may resolve the issue. Or, if you are sending more than One CPT Code. Please send one CPT Code in per eligibility request.
