How to Schedule Recurring Appointments for Patients

Schedule recurring appointments for patients who require ongoing visits.

Here's how you can create a custom reoccurrence for the appointment for a patient.

1. Enter the first or last name of the patient in the top navigation bar search box. Click Enter. Select the patient from the auto-populated results. The Patient's Chart page opens.


2. Once you're on the Patient Chart page, click " Set Appointments ". The Recurring Appointment window opens.




3. On the Recurring Appointment window, enter the following details to set recurring appointment for a patient:

a. Select an
Active Provider from the drop-down list.
b. Select Appointment Type from the drop-down.
c. Select Start Time from the drop-down.
d. Enter the number in the " Recur every week ". Click to select if it's a Weekly or Monthly recurring schedule. Note: The day of the week and month is based on the Start Date of the appointment.
e. Select range of recurrence . By default, Start Date is the current date. Click to change it if required. You can either choose End By or End After. Click to select End by date or enter the number in the box provided for " End After " to tell our system the number of occurrences.
f. Click " OK " to save the details.
