zHealth is cloud-based practice management software. No matter whether you use a desktop, laptop, or tablet, you can access your zHealth account at any time. You just need to have the most recent operating system and Chrome as our supported browser.

Q: What is the best browser for zHealth Software and what should be the configuration of the tablet for smooth functionality?
A: zHealth is optimized for use with Google Chrome. Any computer using Chrome can access and use the software, as it is cloud-based and available anywhere with Internet access. Although we test everything in Chrome. Please stay away from all versions of Firefox as there are known display rendering and functionality issues.
For tablets, we recommend a 9” display or larger Chromebook, iPad (4th generation or newer), or either the Samsung or Lenovo tablet, which both come with Google's Chrome browser. Amazon Fire is not a recommended device.

Q: Can I use the Amazon Fire Tablet on zHealth?
A: The Amazon Fire Tablet is not recommended as the software is optimized for Chrome which doesn't come standard on the Amazon tablet. You have to download 3rd party software to get Chrome and we've heard from clients it isn't a great option.
A: It has been observed that certain laptop models (e.g. Samsung devices) could not open "Consent Forms" in the PDF format. To view the PDF files of the Consent Forms, make sure you have a PDF Viewer in Chrome installed on your system. In case the Chrome PDF Viewer is already installed on your system, try reinstalling it to troubleshoot any issues. If the issue persists, you can always reach out to support for assistance. Q: Issues viewing the consent form during the check-in process on the iPad?
A: If the iPad is running iOS version 14.4 or earlier, the problem occurs. However, for any iOS version beyond 14.4, the consent form functions properly. To find the software version installed on your device, go to Settings > General > About > iOS Version.
