How to Block Time on Your Calendar Using the zHealth Provider App

If you need to block off time on your calendar using the zHealth Provider App, or if you wish to edit or delete previously set blocks, please follow these step-by-step instructions. This will ensure your schedule remains accurate and up-to-date, helping to avoid any potential conflicts or double bookings.

How to Block Your Schedule

1. Access the Calendar Blocking Option

Navigate to the Home Page of the application. Locate and click on the “+” (Plus) Icon on the bottom right corner. From the dropdown menu, select the “Block Your Calendar” option.

2. Fill in the Required Details

You will be presented with the "Block My Calendar" form. Fill in the details as outlined below:

a. Select Provider: Use the dropdown menu to select the relevant provider or individual for whom the calendar will be blocked.
b. Enter Reason: In the text field labelled b, provide a reason for blocking the calendar. This could be something like "Out of Office," "Personal Appointment," or "Team Meeting."
c. Select Start Date and Time: Click the date picker to choose the starting date and time for the block.
d. Select End Date and Time: Click the date picker to set the ending date and time for the block.
e. Confirm: Once all the details have been entered, click the green “Confirm” button to save your changes.


How to Edit or Delete a Blocked Schedule

1. Click on the Blocked Schedule. A pop-up window will open.

a. Click "Change" to change the clocked schedule time
b. Click "Delete" to delete the blocked schedule.

Change option will take you to the Block My Calendar screen, where you can edit the start or end date and confirm to change the new blocked schedule.

2. If you select "Delete", you will be taken to the new screen for confirmation. 

If it's a one-time block, click "OK" to delete the blocked time.

If it's a recurring block, you can choose to "Delete this schedule only" or "Delete this and all the future schedules".
