![]() 3. Within the "Messages" section, you will see two features: Bulk Text and In-App Notifications. Select the "In-App Notifications" tab to compose the message you want to send to your patients as a push notification. |
![]() 4. To send a push notification to patients via In-App Notifications, two mandatory fields must be completed: the Subject Line and the Message Body. After completing both fields, click the "Send Notification" button to deliver the message to your patients. ![]() Note: Below both fields, the allowed character limit is displayed, along with a live count of the characters you've typed. |
![]() 5. After you click the "Send Notification" button, the message is added to the queue and will be delivered to patients within a few minutes, depending on the number of patients at your clinic. |
![]() 1. Patients with the zHealth Mobile App installed will see the push notification banner, provided notifications are enabled for the app in their smartphone settings. The push notification banner shows the name of your practice, helping patients easily identify where the message is coming from and ensuring they don't miss important updates from your clinic. |
![]() 2. When a patient taps the notification banner while logged into the Patient Mobile App, they are taken directly to the "Messages" section. |

Alternatively, patients can log into their zHealth Patient Mobile App account and select the "Messages" section located in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. ![]() Note: The total number of unread messages is shown as a red bubble on the "Messages" icon in the navigation bar. |
![]() 4. The patient can tap the notification message listed under the "Notifications" tab within the Messages section of the Mobile App to view the complete message. ![]() Note: The patient can delete the message by tapping the trash can icon located at the top right corner of the full message. |
