Scheduling Telehealth Appointment from Calendar

zHealth Telehealth is a HIPAA-compliant video visit solution. It provides an integrated experience with the zHealth technology platform. Here is how a provider or staff can schedule a Telehealth appointment from Calendar.
Note: If you want to turn ON the Telehealth feature for your facility, please contact your Customer Success Specialist or send us an email to support@zhealthehr.com.

 1. Access your zHealth Dashboard/Calendar. Select the desired date on the Calendar. Click on the desired time slot.

An
Available Appointment Scheduling window opens. Search the existing patient using the "Search" box. Or click "New Patient" if you're scheduling an appointment for a new patient.

2. If the Telehealth appointment is for a new patient, then fill all patient details, select "Video Consultation" as Appointment Option, and confirm to add appointment details.

To confirm appointment with an existing patient, select "
Video Consultation" as "Appointment Option". Click "Confirm".
Note: Add Video Consultation or Telehealth Visit as an appointment type to your facility. Map this appointment type to the providers offering Telehealth visits.

3. Once a Telehealth appointment is scheduled, the patient receives an appointment notification with a link to join the Telehealth visit room.
Note: In order for a patient to receive an appointment reminder, verify the email and mobile phone entered on the Contact Details tab of the Patient's Chart page.

4. A provider can access the 'Telehealth' icon shown in the patient appointment on the Calendar. Clicking the icon will take you to the zHealth Telehealth room where you can start the Telehealth Video Call.
