zHealth Conversations

The Conversations or 2-way texting feature in zHealth allows providers or staff within a practice to communicate with patients. Communicate freely by sending and receiving personalized, on-demand messages. This interactive feature lets patients reply* directly to your text messages they receive and delivers responses right to your zHealth Conversations tab.

The Conversations tab will show all text messages sent no matter if they are appointment reminders, Review PlusPatient Plus, bulk texts, or direct one-to-one conversations. Patient responses from Conversations, Patient Plus, Review Plus, and Bulk texting are sent to the clinic (texting responses from appointment reminders are only supported if you use your facility's dedicated landline number as the sender number).

Your facility can use the Conversations tool as a standalone feature or add it to Review Plus, Patient Plus or Bulk Texting. To view Conversations add-on pricing, click hereIf you want to add the Conversations feature to your package, please email support@zhealthehr.com or call 1-800-459-0302.

*Note 1: The Conversations feature can use your facility's dedicated landline number as the sender number.  You can request our Customer Support team to add your custom landline number for texting so you can receive reply to any text, including Appointment Reminders and Bulk Texts; set up patient-initiated texting (patients can reply to Conversations, Review Plus, and Patient Plus); and configure non-patient initiated texts too. Please reach out to your Customer Success Specialist or send an email to support@zhealthehr.com to get this set up.
Note 2: Today, zHealth supports receiving SMS texts (Short Message Service) only. Any MMS texts (Multimedia Messaging Service) that include emojis, gifs, and/or images will not be delivered. Allowing MMS texting is an enhancement scheduled on the 2024 roadmap.
